About Alyssa Broomfield

Alyssa Broomfield (She/Her) is an experienced CPR and First Aid Instructor with nearly 15 years of teaching expertise. She is passionate about saving lives and empowering others with lifesaving skills. Alyssa is dedicated to inclusive education, having taught students of all ages and walks of life. Her dedication ensures that every student walks away feeling prepared, confident, and ready to handle any emergency with calm professionalism. Outside of Aquatics, Alyssa is a full-time student at the College of the North Atlantic. 

About Jared T. Hogan

Jared T. Hogan (He/Him) is the Owner/Operator of Lifesaving Skills-NL and an experienced Instructor Trainer with the Lifesaving Society. Jared’s background started in Aquatics almost 12 years ago and has given him the opportunity to teach throughout urban and rural Newfoundland. While he is still involved with First Aid and Lifeguard Training part-time, Jared is currently a full-time anthropological archaeologist, working on his PhD at Memorial University and teaching as a Per Course Instructor and a Continuing Education Instructor at Memorial University and the College of the North Atlantic, respectively.
